Korean film festival concluding todayMonday - 15th December 2008 |
| The Korean film festival began with a impressive reception at the Administrative Staff College at Jawalakhel. The festival runs from Dec 9-11, which was organized by the Korean Embassy. The festival is concluding today. Through the film festival people have chance to gain a unique insight into South Korea: its landscape, lifestyle, politics, society and culture. It also intends to establish a better understanding of the Republic of Korea and contribute to fostering friendly relationship between the people of two nations. Featuring 4 movies — King and the Clown, Beyond the Year, Secret Sunshine and Pounds Beauty — the festival opened with a short speech from the Ambassador of Korea to Nepal, Hong Sungmog. “As a follow up of the Korean Film Festival that was held last year at the Russian Culture Center, the Korean Embassy is pleased to introduce four additional Korean films welcoming this year's autumn, the season of harvest and festival,” he said. |
