Restriction on Vehicular Movement in Thamel from 1st NovemberWednesday - 21st October 2009 |
| According to a new rule, the Metropolitan Traffic Police Division (MTPD) is declaring a 100-metre area, stretching from Kathmandu Guest House Chowk to Narasingha Chowk, Thamel as vehicle-free zone from November 1. The area will be off-limit for four-wheelers, bicycles and rickshaws. The restrictions will be enforced from 10 am and 4 pm and from 7 pm to 10 pm. |
