Horse riding at Nagarkot to woo touristsFriday - 16th July 2010 |
| Bhaktapur: A horse-riding tourist package has been launched in Nagarkot, a famous tourist attraction near Kathmandu. According to Dipak Lamichhane, secretary, Nagarkot Naldum Tourism Development Committee, the committee members travelled on horseback from Nagarkot to Chisapani, Dhulikhel, Jarsing Pauwa, Melamchi, Jhule, Shankhu and back to Nagarkot tower. The same itinerary will cost Rs1,000 to Rs1,500 per hour for tourists. Lamichhane said horse riding tourism would attract more tourists as it is a new means of entertainment here. |
