Nepal's "Fantastic Family Offer" in India

Nepal Tourism Board organized a press conference in Mumbai on 21 March 2005 to promote the special offer of " Buy Three & Get One Ticket Free-Fantastic Family Offer" for Indians collaboratively launched by Nepal Tourism Board, Royal Nepal Airlines Corporation (RNAC), Cosmic Air, Nepal Recreation Centre and Pashupati Area Development Trust (PADT) from March May 31, 2005 in the Indian market.
Addressing around 30 media people, Mrs. Nandini Lahe-Thapa, Director, Tourism Marketing & Promotion informed that Nepal has always remained a safe tourist destination as well as next door fun and value for money destination for Indians. Mrs. Thapa also emphasized on the importance of Indian market for Nepalese tourism and briefed on the various promotional programs launched by NTB.
Also present on the occasion were: Mr. Sharada Prasad Trital, Joint Secretary, Ministry of Culture, Tourism & Civil Aviation, Mr. Lawrence Liew, G.M. of Cosmic Air, Mr. B.K. Singh, Manager-Western India, Royal Nepal Airlines Corporation and Mr. Rakesh Wadhwa, Executive Director of Nepal Recreation Centers.
During the Press Conference, Mr. Sharada Trital, Joint Secretary, Ministry of Culture, Tourism and Civil Aviation said, " We all are making special preparations to welcome tourists from India to Nepal. His Majesty's Government of Nepal has also assured the tourism industry to provide appropriate facilities and necessary supports to make the stay of tourists comfortable and memorable. The commitment and consolidated efforts of His Majesty's Government of Nepal and the tourism industry has been reflected in the fact that not a single tourist has been harmed by any untoward incidents."
The representatives from Royal Nepal Airlines, Cosmic Air and Nepal Recreation Centers focused on their various attractive and competitive offers specially floated for Indian travelers.
The press conference was a success in terms of restoring the Indian travelers' confidence towards Nepal and local media coverage of the event.
A lucky draw for the holiday trip to Nepal was also held during the occasion among the Indian media present during the press conference.
Applicable to Indian nationals, the" Buy Three & Get One Ticket Free-Fantastic Family Offer" is valid only on the national carrier Royal Nepal Airlines and Cosmic Air from March till May 31, 2005 to their respective sectors in India. The buyers of the Offer, " Buy Three & Get One Ticket Free-Fantastic Family Offer" by both the above mentioned airlines are also entitled for Free casino coupons worth INR 10,000.00 and will have a special privilege in the Pashupatinath Temple Darshan.
NTB has been promoting such offers for Indian tourists from time to time keeping in view with the importance of Indian tourists for Nepalese tourism industry.
