| During the sidelines of the Asian-African conference, His Majesty King Gyanendra has granted audience to Chinese President Hu Jintao, UN Secretary General Kofi Annan and Prime Minister of Sri Lanka Mahinda Rajapakshe separately in Jakarta Friday. During these meetings issues related to bilateral, regional and global matters were discussed, reports said. This is the first high-level meeting between Nepalese monarch and leaders of friendly countries and the UN after the royal move of February 1. |
