| rekking Agents Association of Nepal (TAAN) in coordination with Nepal Tourism Board (NTB) and Ghalegaun Village Resort P. Ltd has organized and started the Familiarization Trip to Ghalegaun, Ghanpokhara from the 16th of April 2005 to 20th April 2005. It will be a 5 day long trip, where the participants will be made aware of the various cultural and natural heritages as well as the important areas of the region. We believe that the Ghalegaun Ghanpokhara region can be equally popular as other trekking routes of the country as it has got tremendous tourism potentiality. As you must be aware that TAAN is always exploring new tourism areas and tourism product for further promoting tourism in the country and Ghalegaun-Ghanpokhara region is one of those areas that TAAN is very much interested in promoting. A group of 41 people are on the trip out of which 18 are the TAAN Members and the rest will consists of media persons, a documentary team as well as the local stakeholders. Itinerary of the FAM Trip Day 1 - 16th April 2005 : Drive to Pokhara Day 2 – 17th April 2005 : Trek to Pakhrikot/Nangidhar Day 3 – 18th April 2005 : Trek to Pashgaun Day 4 – 19th April 2005 : Trek to Ghalegaun/Ghanpokhara Day 5 – 20th April 2005 : Trek to Khudi and Drive Back to Ktm/Pkr |
