Ceasefire extended for one more month

The Communist Party of Nepal (Maoist) has announced that it is going to extend the unilateral ceasefire by another one month. According to Nepal news.com, in a statement issued on December 2, Maoist chairman Prachanda said the decision had been made in view of the demands made by forces within the country and abroad for the ceasefire. Travel tourism industry which has been seeing
growth in terms of arrival of tourists in recent months , welcomed the move and urged the need of effort from all walks of life to make peace permanent phenomenon in Nepal.
