Finnair to fly Nepal in NovemberSaturday - 12th June 2004 |
| First direct flight from the Finnish capital Helsinki to Kathmandu will start from November, 2004. Finland Travel Bureau has booked a charter plane from the Finnish national carrier Finnair. Only once Finnish airline has visited Nepal before. It was in 1960’s, when DC-6 landed in Kathmandu on round the World trip Finland Travel Bureau is the largest established travel agency in Finland having offered travel services in the different countries since 1909. First direct flight and visiting programme was organized with help of local PR representative of the Nepal Tourism Board in Helsinki. |
