Tourism master plan soon: GyawaliMonday - 29th January 2007 |
| RSS KATHMANDU, Jan. 26: Minister for Culture, Tourism and Civil Aviation Pradeep Gyawali said the government is working out to introduce relevant tourism policy and to draw up tourism master plan. While speaking at a programme organised here Friday by Nepal Association of Travels Agents (NATA), Minister Gyawali informed that the technical team is carrying out study to convert the Nepal Airlines Corporation to public and private partnership company by introducing new Acts and to purchase airbus of Nepal Airlines Corporation. He also made it known that that flight policy has been eased as to luring more tourists and the policy has been formulated to allow domestic airlines companies, which have operated domestic flights over five years, for operating international flights. Minister Gyawali added the high emphasis would be laid on the protection of tourism heritages and the tourism would be enhanced as the means of alleviating poverty in the country. |
