Nawalparasi festival to be held next weekWednesday - 21st February 2007 |
| KATHMANDU, Feb. 20: Nawalparasi Festival-2063 is to be held for the first time at Adarsha Secondary School premise Ramgram Parasi from 27 February to 3rd of March, with the joint efforts of District Development Committee Nawalparasi, Nepal Chamber of Industry and Commerce Nawalparasi and Ramgram Municipality. The festival to be organised with the aim of promoting agriculture, tourism, small and cottage industry and commerce will make the approximate transactions of Rs. 20 million and some 200,000 people will visit the festival. According to a press meet organised by FNCCI here today, the exhibition of local products, information on tourism and cultural performances with typical communities will be centers of attraction in the festival. At the press meet, the President of Federation's Fair and Exhibition Committee, A G Sherpa and the member of Executive Committee, Gunanidhi Tiwari had furnished information on the Festival. |
