UK minister postpones Nepal tourMonday - 12th March 2007 |
| Gareth Thomas, International Development Minister of the United Kingdom, has postponed his visit to Nepal considering the urgent proceedings in the UK parliament. Thomas will reschedule his visit as soon as possible as he is keen to emphasise UK’s support for the progress being made with the peace process, a British Embassy release said Saturday. During his three-day trip, the British minister was to meet with Prime Minister Girija Prasad Koirala, other senior political leaders and government officials. |
