NTB, PATA-Nepal to organize sales mission in SEA

Nepal Tourism Board (NTB) and PATA/Nepal Chapter, in cooperation with Nepal Embassy in Thailand, Nepal Airlines Corporation (NAC), and Nepal Association of Tour Operators (NATO), are organising the South East Asia (SEA) Sales Mission in three countries – Thailand, Malaysia, and Singapore from June 5-8.
According to a press release issued by NTB Sunday, the organizers are eyeing the potential of outbound travellers in the South East Asia Region, the sales mission is being organized.
In Thailand, the programme is scheduled to be held in Bangkok on June 5. Nepal is going to highlight Buddhist Pilgrimage Sites and other attractions of Nepal, added the release. Likewise, being also a pioneer country in adventure activities, Nepal will be focusing its soft adventure attractions, too.
The Sales Mission also aims to promote the idea of "exchange the tang of Mountain with Beaches" among the visitors' experience of the two countries, said the release..
The Nepal Delegation will be led by NTB and PATA/Nepal along with 12 private companies.
In Malaysia and Singapore, the Road Show will be graced by Minister for Culture, Tourism and Civil Aviation Prithi Subba Gurung.
The Road Show to be held in Singapore will also be addressed by Secretary of Ministry of Culture, Tourism and Civil Aviation Madhav Prasad Ghimire.
During the Road Show, the Mt Everest Summiteers from Thailand, Singapore and Malaysia will be felicitated. |
