100 State tourists stranded in NepalTuesday - 03rd July 2007 |
| Over 100 tourists from West Godavari, Krishna and Khammam districts, currently on a visit to Nepal, are reportedly stranded on a ghat road, 200 km from Kathmandu, in view of the bandh call given by the Maoists. The family members of the tourists are worried over their safety. According to reports, they suspended their trip as a safety measure and are put up in a choultry. The tourists, led by a travel agent based in Eluru, left the city by train on June 24. |
